Hi guys, managed to squeeze myself inside this event hall for the mega book fest at my hometown Kota Kinabalu. Well, as you can see its super packed due to public holiday "Harvest Festival". I thought not much people at 12pm but turned out traffic jam and no parking at Sabah Trade Center. Parking spaces were not able to accomodate so many cars though some even parked at the side of the main road.
Books were cheap at 75%-90% off the price tags. There were sections for novel, non fiction, kids and Malay. I was looking for non fiction and some historical warfare books. Not much varieties due to 1 stack of books with 1 title🤣, thats a typical book fare with alot of surplus. For the best seller section, books were not that interesting in my opinion due to many were not new release.
Managed to grab an autobiography of the founder of Nike, Phil Knight only at RM12, roughly (USD4) and Vietnam: A War Lost And Won, a histotical war of independent at RM10 only. I wanted to buy the biography of Steve Jobs at RM12 but I am not a big fan of him🤣. Now I am posting steemit while waiting my turn to pay at the counter. I waiting for more than 30 minutes already🤮. Well, for info, if you cannot make it to visit here today, you can also find all the books at Book Excess at Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
