I totally understand that. We have a curriculum this year for the first time, but we haven't followed it to a 'T' because things come up, different learning opportunities, different interests, different events, etc. But it is at least a basic guide for us. Prior to this we freeschooled / child-led learned. It's all about the individual child really, and what works for them. My 8 yr old is a sponge and LOVES to learn so she actually doesn't mind a curriculum and of course she loves going to the groups. :) Some weeks we go, some weeks we aren't up for it and that is okay. It's kinda a go with the flow thing. :)
