This is literally using firewood to cook for the meal, a very special dinner session indeed. For the taste, it is definitely a good one where you really take on the spices and enjoy the burn too (plus we only ordered for the medium spiciness and not the extreme). The overall food experience was decent as we take our time to cook the food and enjoy the slightly cooled soup which is rich in fragrant and spice. For pricing, it would be an average of 40-50 MYR per pax, reasonable for a Chinese style restaurant (imagine the extreme is Haidilao with 100 MYR per pax).
Crowded when it was around 7pm
We looked around how people ordered as this was our first time here
The whole wok is smack right in the middle of the dining table
After ordered, the food materials came and they help us to cook
Some tofu and Chinese style Roti Canai
Literally firewood
And the waitress helped to put in the firewood and charcoal under the wok to start the burning
Everything down into the wok and the cooking starts
Down the meat, pork and chicken
Almost done and ready to eat.
Here are the materials you can pick on.
To me, this is well worth the price as it is very fulfilling and I love the spice. An occasionaly visit would be good to spice up my life :P
