That's the best photo I have of myself and it just so happens that I have my eyes closed. You can't have everything.
This was our first full day in Hanoi and it was beyond amazing. We stayed in a hostel right in the Old Quarter, which is the best area as it really captures the essence of Hanoi. Even though where we were staying was quite central and you do see a decent amount of tourists, it wasn't as busy or commercial as I found Saigon to be. It still had much of its old imperial charm, and a skyline uninterrupted by skyscrapers.
