I looked into myself and asked
What does it mean to give up,
Why don't I want to give up,
Why don't I want to let go,
Then from the inside a word, Love,
Then I said to myself and smile
A lover's mind.

Dream expresses the state of the mind
Yet, it cannot be understood
It points out the missing details
Yet, still void
It expresses an emotion so long lost from the world
Yet very familiar to the mind
Yes,Love, the missing piece
Striving to make itself known to mind,to the world
Never gives up, never letting go, patient, relentless,
Definitely a lover's mind.

After a long period of battle with the mind,
Trying to fight this, trying to let go,trying to forget
But losing a battle that doesn't even exist,
A battle that the mind created only to trick itself
That it cannot be love, that love doesn't exist
Only for love to show itself through many means
Yet abused, not understood
Definitely a lover's mind.

Thousands of birds in sky
Thousands of people in the world
Only one was chosen
Not because she is the most beautiful
Not because she is the best
But because of Love, love chose her
Hoping the feeling was mutual,
Having a faith which might not be
Looking up to heaven
Wishing fate could make the choice
The mind's choice

She existed, she was born for this very reason
She is perfect the way she is ,
Her face enchanted it the moment they met
Then it became fooled
Never letting go, thinking always about her,
Seeing her in its dreams,
called a fool for her sake
Yet she does not know it exist,
Called obsessed for her sake
Yet she does not know it exist,

Yes she is special,
Special enough to affect the mind
Special enough to stand out among the rest
Special enough to show the mind can love
