I don't mean to be too personal here, but if I had the opportunity, I will create software that would kill cyber criminals. I mean just because you are more tech enlightened than everyone else doesn't give you the right to use it in stealing peoples hard earned money. I'm still amused as to why with all the intelligence these cyberpunks have, the only thing they can think about is stealing people's blood and sweat.
If not for the intervention of security agencies, (who I still feel aren't doing enough) they try to curb the activities of cyber criminals and give precautionary measures to avoid this, but sometimes it feels as though the cybercriminals are smarter in the attack and the security agencies are merely playing defense. The most painful thing is that even the defense mechanism and strategy are always bridged because of the offensive-attacking nature of cybercriminals.
Then again if I'm to be more analytical, cybercriminals have made us smarter and think faster. Not just the security agencies, but even the average person that keeps his money In the bank. Now we are more careful in our financial dealings, making sure if there's a breach of security, it wouldn't be from our end. And most times it's quite surprising how people still fall prey to petty cyberpunks due to greed. I don't think the fight between cyber crime and security will ever end, as long as man has the ability to think outside the box. And with the invention of A.I, it's only a matter of time before cyber crimes increase. Another striking thing that has become appealing is how these cyberpunks get to select their targets, although some extravagant people make themselves targets, however, others who genuinely try to protect their accounts still fall victim.
The hive Blockchain has become almost like a safe haven. Through the security mechanisms, yet there are still records of hive accounts being accessed, most I have seen are through negligence, and the one I have personally experienced, it's still unexplainable how my hive account was accessed. This makes me wonder who is truly smarter, the cybercriminals, or the security agencies.
