There are people who do not dream, if you have not met them, I have, I know of two, and I have heard of a few. I have come to realize that there is no one thing in this life, just because you have not seen it happen, does not mean it doesn’t exist. This is why when people tell me there is no one who can say they have never dreamt in their entire life, I look at them and shake my head because I have seen it, but unfortunately I am not one of them. I dream a lot as a matter of fact. I believe dreams can be a lot of things depending on the factors that come into play when they occur.

For a start, the dream itself is a normal occurrence, it’s the mind's way of interacting with your subconscious, and most often time, it shows your deepest emotion. A sad person can have happy dreams, it means they wish to be happy, and you find them always going to sleep, a happy person can have sad dreams and their mood automatically changes. Sometimes it helps to see things from a different perspective, it could be something your subconscious heard that your mind missed and they are now trying to interact.
The most common belief however is that dreams are visions of the future, but to be honest, there is only a 20% truth in it. Like I said, dreams are natural occurrences and there are factors that affect its interpretation. Your subconscious needs to have attained a level of spirituality to see the future, while other times your subconscious might just be trying to let you know or understand certain things that have happened. The most common is when you begin to relieve your day or something you love which is what happens 70% of the time. The remaining 10% is usually in between.
