Fidget Spinners
If you have not heard of a fidget spinner basically it is a three-pronged, hand held device that is the size of your palm and it spins with the help of bearings.
Catherine Hettinger invented the fidget spinner in the early 90s. They then only became popular recently. Now every second person has them in their pockets.
Do they really help with anxiety and ADHD?. Experts say "not really". There are a lot of toys out there to help kids with ADHD and there is no proof that fidget spinners help.
They marketed it in a way to make you think it is going to help. In my personal opinion it is a very clever marketing tactic and worked very well because fidget spinners are selling like a veld fire.
Fidget spinners are mainly just a distraction. They may "help you focus" but they are more of a distraction than they are proclaimed to help you. Your giving a person a toy and all he/she is going to do is play with it.
This is just my personal opinion but you guys are more than welcome to let me know what your opinions are in the comments. Have a great day.
