Hahaha, this is A great story with a lot of entertainment value but, also is a good emotional journey for McNeil. I really liked it and was picturing it as I was reading, very simply you could turn this into a short film and a good one at that. The hardest thing would be the CGI/ Greenscreen elements but that would be achievable.
