This is the Perth mints Simpsons series that includes a full 1 oz series of Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Snowball and Santa's Little Helper and a duff beer silver coins there is also a 1 oz non colour Krusty The Clown silver coin which I will Display at a later date, and this half oz Homer Simpson coloured coin with a average mintage of 15000 it was slow to sell out and up to last year was sold direct from the mint for around 36 dollars Australian. There has been a slight increase in price since then with them now getting around the 47-50 dollar mark to find a example like this one, I do like The Simpsons having grown up on them from way back in 1989 when they aired but this coin did not grab my attention as much as the 1 oz coins did mainly because the size difference between the 1 oz and half oz does make a difference in the quality of the obverse and reverse. How ever i did buy a few of these and I am prepared to wait on price to improve which could take some time unlike the 1 oz coins which have seen a jump in price these coins a 9999 pure silver and weights in a 15.553 grams.
