A Newbie Meets Steemit

Hi Steemians! :) I'am @kikay13, from the province of Bulacan Philippines where buntal hats, pastillas, ensaymada and chicharon are famous of.

and also, a mother of my handsome son. Yes, I'am a proud mother at the age of 22. :)

How do I learn about Steemit?

I was encouraged by my mother who was also a member of @steemitpowerup community. My mother knew me well, I love reading and writing, so she asked me to read blogs in steemit. i was amazed by their blogs. So, I decided to join thinking that it will be a big opportunity for me to explore, learn and be informed on the current trends.

What I'am interested at?

Aside from reading and writing, I'm a big fan of watching documentaries, a documentation in literature or art, it may be factual or objective. I'am interested of how they tell facts about actual people and events. I learn a lot in watching documentaries and it was fun learning.

Learning is a continuous process. Day by day, people learn from other people, books, events, and experiences. And joining this community is an experience that will help me learn continuously which eventually I can share with my students. :)
