Dangerous about a mining virus that exhausts your computer for the benefit of unknown people!
A software bot that spreads through Facebook on personal computers and exploits users' devices for digital currency mining, thus affecting their performance by exhausting them.
The bot, known as Digmine, first appeared in South Korea but soon spread to Asian and Central Asian countries and is expected to spread to more countries quickly and soon to be used by the Messenger platform Facebook to spread.
This bot works on computers only, and comes to the user in the form of a deceptive video file, which contains an executable script, once logged in to Messenger Facebook, the bot spreads itself to the accounts of the infected user's friends through a link containing fake video.
When the script hits the user's device it downloads additional files necessary for its operation from an external server and these files are saved in the user name folder on Windows under the appdata folder
The bot starts by installing keys in the registry to start it with every computer boot and activates via Chrome browser through a malicious add-on that installs it. And the bot program to exceed Google's restrictions that prevent the installation of plugins from outside the store.
