Hello hivians, it has always been a pleasure dishing out and digesting posts here. Been a while though, but I'm all back fully on track. I'm going to be hitting it straight with the very topic for discussion

Over the years I've actually found myself doing quite a lot of things with ease, when I was very little mom always appreciates me for being orderly and easy going with little tasks. As I am currently, there are actually a lot of things I can do with little or no supervision after few instructions

But the one that keeps baffling me is the fact that I can do a lot when it comes to furniture/wood work. Yes, I can be super creative and calculative... I got to find out when I was very tender, I started with savings box construction.

The first one I did came out perfectly well and truth be told I have never gotten any instructions from anyone about how it should really be done I just find myself doing it with more ease

And as time went by I began to upgrade to making wooden food holders for my aunt's little poultry birds. There was a day I looked at the cage of the birds and I was like I can build this cage (I TOLD MY AUNT) she doubted me at first (I THINK) until I got the chance to do little amendment work on the very cage... Funny enough it came out successful and she was like WOW 😲

That boosted my confidence to an extent though, there was a day I boldly told her to buy woods and every other materials needed for the cage construction that I will take care of the construction (IT BAFFLED HER) But with the boldness in my words and the little works I've been delivering, she decided to give me a try... You won't believe it, it was actually harder than I thought, maybe it was because I was doing it for the first time I guess. It took engineer Stanley (ME) 2 whole weeks before my construction project was completed. But I can beat hands on my chest, it was an amazing structure and one of my first accomplished projects while growing up

It didn't take long, they always say your good works would bring people to come look for you. Our neighbors started asking me to build cages for them, it was not just the good work I do they were coming for, but the price would be cheaper compared to what a professional carpenter was going to charge them. But what do I care as a young child, the money was quite huge to me as at then so I took up the work and did my best to deliver and my little stipend was handed over to me. Those were among the money I used in buying some things for myself as at then and it was truly amazing.

Even up till date even though I don't do furniture/wood work, it is still one of the easiest things I can lay my hands on to do. To me, What it really takes is to be a good calculator and have neat finishing. And Even till date I'm still using that advantage with my present work in fixing some electrical components like switches and sockets on a surface wiring. What i do is Cut my wood to precise size and fit in sockets/switches firmly
