Yo I just played Japan vs BVB in that event match on legend and bro I’m still not over it 😁 My hands were actually shaking at kickoff because you know how legend event games go. One mistake and you’re getting packed.
3rd minute and I scored out of nowhere. I wasn’t even trying to force it. Just played out from the back, one-two with Reus, then I saw the gap and slipped a through ball. My striker ran onto it, took one touch and buried it bottom corner 🔥 I sat there for a solid 2 seconds like “wait... did that actually go in?” Scoring that early against Japan on legend is crazy. It flipped the whole game. Instead of me chasing shadows for 90 minutes, now they had to push up and leave space. That’s literally perfect for BVB counters.
After that Japan tried to bully me. They were pressing high, pinging the ball around, and I was just hoping my defense wouldn’t fall apart. But today my midfield was actually on one. We won every second ball and every time we turned it over it was dangerous. Second goal came from a corner — swung it in, header, straight in. No drama. Third one was around the 70th minute, classic BVB break. 3 passes, out wide, cut back, goal. Nothing fancy, just proper football. Defensively we were solid too. Japan had 2 big chances that should’ve gone in but my keeper pulled off saves that made no sense 😭 That’s what kept the clean sheet alive.
Ended 3-0. Clean sheet, 3 goals, vs Japan, on legend, in an event match. I’ll take that any day of the week. Usually these event games are just a 50/50 coin flip where you pray you don’t get smoked, but today everything just clicked. That goal in the 3rd minute took all the pressure off and let me actually enjoy playing. BVB felt so smooth, every pass was going where I wanted it to for once. Now I just gotta keep this momentum going before the game decides to remind me I’m not that good again 😂
