Hive Keychain DHF 3 - Weeks 22 & 23

As promised in our proposal, we will post regular updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.

I'll keep it very short this week since I will be talking at the HiveFest 6 this weekend, come join us!

Mobile App

Much energy these past two weeks went towards having a proof of concept for @arcange 's Hive Authentication Service integration. I won't go in too much details here, since we will talk about it at Hive Fest. @arcange's talk about HAS and our Keychain presentation should both be around the beginning of the second day of conference (TBC).

I've also been working on some improvements to the landscape mode for Android. Namely, blocking to portrait if the device option is set as such, and avoid bad rendering when turning the device. I'm hoping to push this update this week.

Keychain extension

@cedricguillas finished refactoring the History tab, added some filters and other neat features, then went back to fix somme issues regarding operations and settings.

To import accounts quickly from your Hive Keychain extension to your mobile App, use the QR Code scanner by pressing the QR code logo:

On your extension, navigate to the menu (top right button), then to Manage Accounts and finally click on Show QR Code.
