As promised in our proposal, we will post weekly updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.
We're happy to see that the mobile Apps release was a success and we are already counting over 300 users across Android and iOS. We've got a really heart-warming response from the community and are pumped to keep working on it!
Here's what I've done this week on the development side:
Started working on the bridge that will link the Apps with the WebView (the element displaying the dApps), inject Keychain features to the dApps and return operation results to them.
Tried to fix an issue happening on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X but couldn't replicate after buying a similar phone.
The goal is to deliver a simple but working in-App browser as soon as possible (hopefully within a month), with full Keychain operations support.
After that, more features will be added to transform it to a full fledged browser (multiple tabs, favorites, url autocomplete, history, custom Keychain welcome page, etc.)
As it happens once in a while, Google is being a pain and has refused our latest update, that only introduced minor changes. We are working on it and are hoping to be able to update the extension soon.
On your extension, navigate to the menu (top right button), then to Manage Accounts and finally click on Show QR Code.
