YouTube used to be special.
We weren't just discovering a new website, but a whole new way to express ourselves. It was something the world hadn't seen before. Ordinary people became extraordinary. New genres were being built and the emphasis was on YOU.
Before the money. Before the algorithm. Before the "give only value". Before the "stay consistent". It was about us. Our lives and navigating through it the best we can. Eventually I'll return on YouTube, but I also know it's evolved to a different website to one I feel in love with.
But if it stayed the same, everyone would get bored eventually. I miss the fun. I miss the friends. You'll always have a part of my heart, old YouTube.
