From blocktrades to Binance would take around 5 seconds. This is a recent exchange I made, and you can check this in my wallet as well. Bitshares is a project that has a potential to make a comeback, but it's probably plagued with inflation issues that devalue the currency. All of Dan Larimer's projects are much like Steem. In the short term, it is an excellent exchange currency.
It's hovering around 16 cents. I'm aware some big projects are being built on Bitshares even though I am not holding some myself. I think EOS will lose a lot of value in this bear market, and I would rather Dollar- Cost Average into EOS as it goes down. I do not hold much of EOS either. Bitshares will probably continue to be the worst performing project among Dan's creations.
In the mean time, Bitshares is excellent to make an exchange with on Binance.
I think it's not a good coin to invest in. That is my personal opinion. It does provide utility in speed for Steemit users, so I will praise it in that regard. Time is of the essence on occasions. I would use Bitcoin Cash in the past assuming it's fast, but it's literally another shitcoin in terms of speed. BTRASH IS SUPER SLOW. Sorry.
Bitshares is like the flash of Blocktrades. It comes and goes really fast because I'm trading it for Cardano ADA :)
Again, these only pertain to speed and cost. I have no account of coin quality in here. I think the highest quality coins on this list are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin despite their speed and fees.
