I don't know what humans look like in the vision of birds, here, specifically sparrows. But what is clear is that people around the world use scarecrows to protect their farms.
Here, t-shirts are hung on sticks stuck in the rice fields. It may look like a "hollow man" with a head made of tin cans. When blown by the wind, the t-shirts moved around, but the can made an eerie groaning sound. Apparently, it not only terrifies animals or birds, but also people who don't know where the sound comes from. The first time I heard that, I looked up above the trees. I thought it was the sound of an angry monkey! A moment later, I realized that it was the sound of the can as it spun in the wind.
But there is another model of a mannequin that I don't think is like a mannequin that resembles a human or a farmer. It is made from simple objects.

The body frame is made of wooden sticks and twigs, which is worn with clothes, then the head is made of dried coconut. To me, it looks more like an alien. I think the birds here are more familiar with the usual scarecrows and they're not afraid anymore. Alien-like scarecrows would seem to be more effective now.
