The Sun will rise tomorrow
Days have been so long and bleak,
Sordid sorrowful nights have made men weak,
There've been bees braving above the cloud,
And the foes of man have long been proud.
Men have known years of misery and pain,
Hearts have known deepest despair, not to feign,
Poor folks; life's pain have been their bane,
Travails have been to souls as a rain,
Folks have known solitude as time doth wane,
How can a man, to such, resign and deign?
What a life so short, hot and vain?
Vice and darkness have lit our walkways,
Gloomy and dark have been these years,
The ink of pain have graced our book of days
But a young heart down here prays,
That the sun will rise in brilliant rays,
Glistening bright into a new phase,
No, more what the leviathan says
But the sun will rise tomorrow,
Bringing a bright light, free, not to buy or borrow,
Dense darkness, sore solitary sorrow,
And hearts shall no more be hollow,
The sun will rise tomorrow, And give light for all to follow
