Chronicles
Has time been thus fair?
Once was the virginity of space,
Once was this way in pristine beauty,
But the days have come and gone,
Virtues dead and vices borne,
With counted shadows of sad memories.
Have men been thus fair?
Once was the fertility of this soil,
Once were nature's music and breath,
But men inflicted deep cuts with sores,
Blessings of heaven, curses of earth,
With a sour reminiscence of dead days.
Bring me the fairness of time,
Bring me the justice of men,
Sad sour reminiscence,
Relics of feigned kisses,
With countless shadows of stabs.
