Hello friendsđź•ş,
I am happy that you checked out my Actifit report, here is a brief report summarizing my activities today.
It was a raining day today and as I came out to the balcony wondering what I can do since I couldn’t go out on my early morning walk I discovered that some snails in my compound have grown to maturity and ready to eat so I waited a bit for the heavy rain to chill a bit and then got my container and started harvesting me some snails.
They are usually under fallen leaves or a tree or hiding somewhere so it takes some effects to get them. I decided at some point to delay my appetite for them till tomorrow because I needed to go to the office and I hadn’t gather enough. I figured it will be better to hunt for more snails in the evening and early in the morning so that I’ll get loads to eat.
The office was the usual, no biggy. But the rains messed up things in the internet connection department as it took a longer time to get emails out and confirm stuff online. You had to refresh several times before the page opened. 3G, 4G, broad band it didn’t matter as long as the rain today was concerned. I was though happy that it will force out the snails from their hideouts. Lol. I did move around the office to get more step counts as there was really not much one could do.
I did more snail hunting later in the evening and our kid helped out this time though he doesn’t eat it, same for the Mrs too. I went everywhere I had already hunted at during the morning hunt and we were lucky to get more.
The final hunt will be done very early in the morning and after that I’ll prepare something with it. I am still thinking whether to prepare peppered grill snail or ahhhh! I was thinking out loud and my Mrs who doesn’t eat it is giving me some great suggestions. Lol. We will see how it goes tomorrow.
There was no need going for a walk in the evening because all the hunting gave me all the steps I needed and I was already tired from the daily activities. I got my 10k in the bag and that is all she wrote… I mean he wrote. Lol.
When we were growing up not too long ago, ok it was long ago but still not too long ago. Lol. This song was used by a TV station to introduce the movie selection of the day and viewer had to call in to choose which movie they wanted to watch. The song then wasn’t part of my music selection because we had more danceable songs then but in later year I could feel the bit especially when I discovered it was dedicated to Marvin Gaye. So enjoy this song by the Commodores titled “Nightshift”.
