Owning a home is so beneficial personally. It is a foundation of stability for my kids and myself rather than moving from apartment to apartment, school to school and is a form of long termed savings and financial capital, an asset I can pass on to my sons. We don't have to be at the mercy of an unscrupulous Landlord, I've encountered too many greedy and petty Landlords. After 23 years my home is now mortgage free. A satisfying achievement @angeladelpi
