I think the problem of information not being all in one place is common across most blockchain games now. Hopefully this problem will be fixed eventually, as I think it deters many new players from hopping on.

Recently, the Immutable team introduced MoonPay as a direct on-ramp provider to bypass the ETH fees (but you end up having to pay a convenience fee), you can always look into that if you're making smaller TXes on the chain. There are definitely quite a few issues with the IMX chain and GU in general even as someone who plays very regularly, but I'm hoping that these will be addressed this year 🙂
