Gods Unchained | I found some funds from an airdrop and it seems goooood

I've been playing Gods Unchained off and on now for the longest of times. I am a players who does this is phases I guess. Some times I log in and play a few of them, the other times I leave it be for months.

A long long time ago there was this transition going and my decks of cards which I had built up were gone or changed and it threw me off motivation for a bit. I guess if you are more active in the game then you will have noticed these changes a lot better. But as said, I only open the game every now and then. But I have been playing the game for a long long time now!

And then I saw somewhere that an airdrop had occured already months ago. I decided to take a peek if it would apply to me as well.

Now one of the reason why I am not too fond of Gods Unchained is because I can not find my information all in one place. The game itself is super fun like a hearthstone kind of setting, but seeing your decks if in game (only desktop which takes a tremendous amount of CPU) and if you want something done on the market you need to do that in browser but I always can't seem to find it al in one place.

On top of that we have our buddy metamask which is the L1 function and ofcourse is a disaster of slowness and a drainer of your fees. Today I paid more than $40 in transaction fees which ofcourse makes it a lot less interesting to interact a lot back and forth with it.

I remember receiving a treasure chest back years ago from the OCD community which was worth a quarter of Ethereum which I expected to have big cards in it, but opening was already a drag and as said...I don't know if these cards were ever transacted to my in-game account at all. I surely got the chest, but I don't know what happened to the assets inside.





So yesterday I had battles myself from level 49 to level 50 I got this pack which contained a legendary card in there. I do see this card showing up now in my decks, but when I go to the marketplace to check my inventory, there is nothing that. That to me is the story of Gods unchained. You get stuff, but you don't know if it is even actually there

(Any advice on this is very welcome as I would love to interact more with the market and sell some stuff to buy other stuff)

But back to the airdrop!

A snapshot was taken months ago and I seemed eligible for it and I have received 647 Gods token through separate transactions. That is damn nice because with the price of today that would be around $2000 bucks for just some free gaming. Am I dreaming again?????

And also this with withdrawing these guys actually to metamask they need to be prepared for transaction which takes hours and also sending them out will also take an average of 10 hours.

The gist of all of this. Waiting, waiting, waiting and a lot of insecurity. Every time I do something here it feels like I am in luck that it pulls through. I wonder if the GU team also doesn't get tired of this, because on a faster more scalable blockchain (gosh who knows one??) this would be such a more fun game to play.

On the other hand...DAAAAMN what a nice airdrop! (...if it ever arrives...)
