My name is Kenjie Canillo, I'm 24 years old, and I proudly come from San Isidro, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur-a place that taught me the value of simplicity, hard work, and staying grounded no matter how big your dreams are.
I am currently a graduating student taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) at Blancia College Foundation Inc. Reaching this stage of my academic journey wasn't always easy. Like many students, I faced moments of doubts, pressure, and uncertainty. There were times when the road felt heavy, when progress felt slow, and when giving up seemed like the easier option. But each challenge reminded me why I started and more importantly, who I am becoming.
I believe education is more than a degree. It is about shaping character, learning discipline, and building the courage to keep going even when things don't go as planned.
When I'm not studying or playing sports, I find peace and motivation in hiking, trekking, and camping. Being surrounded by nature reminds me how small we are compared to the world, yet how powerful we can be when we choose to move forward. These adventures, especially when shared with friends and colleagues, strengthen my appreciation for connection, balance, and living in the moment.
My journey is still unfolding. I may not have everything figured out yet, but I am proud of how far I've come. I am a work in progress driven by dreams, shaped by experiences, and fueled by the belief that every step forward matters, no matter how small.
To anyone who feels unsure about their path, just keep going. Growth takes time. Success doesn't always come loudly. It often comes quietly, through consistency, effort, and faith in yourself. I am Kenjie Canillo, and this is just the beginning of my story.
