Reflection: Let us be an example of service

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

Source Today we live in a world where we want to be attended at all times, without realizing that our Lord Jesus Christ showed us a great lesson as we can see in the verse. Jesus Christ was a perfect man, the only one who could simply say no to the right to serve but we see as voluntarily and with an agnegado spirit said: "I have descended from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of the one who sent me", he said (John 6:38).

He is our greatest example of obedience and humility while he served God in everything, he was also in the midst of man as (the one who serves) (Luke 22:27) He understood that by acting in this way manifested true love for with man, he would show us the qualities we should have even when he is older than all of us, he showed us the pleasure of serving.

Source We can see that he also came with a wonderful purpose for which today you and I are free, and that purpose was to give his life.

Our Lord not only came to serve, but also to give his life. He could have simply returned to heaven, but he knew what his purpose was for us to know him.

We can see that Our Lord was an example in everything, obedience, sacrifice and that even though God did not see that as a greater privilege

But we often do not see superiors and we believe because we have great capabilities and we want to be served but we are unable to serve others, it is there when we see that we do not put into practice what our God taught us

But today is the time to reflect on this word, to see the love that our God had for each one of us, to see how he wiped our sins from seeing that thanks to his sacrifice we can see his glory today.

Conclusion

I know that for God the greatest desire is for us to follow his example. that we recognize that we are not superior, that each one has qualities that God has given us, that we understand that we are not perfect, that we have many weaknesses, but still he wants to use us. Remember that serving others teaches us to bend our human pride, it teaches us that something will change both in me and in the person we serve, we would be the true example of the Christian
