Do you know that talks about getting into a relationship and hopefully building a home with someone special is always a top conversation whenever single people are talking? The hierarchy of conversations is always interesting with money and talk about finance being at the top of the chart. The next big talking point is always about finding a life partner.
Interestingly, when people in a relationship are having a conversation, half of the dialogue is always about how they can deal with issues in their relationship and how to tweak some stuff about their life so they can be the best possible marital partner for their guy or babe. They try to shape and mould each other into an ideal marital partner.
Now, I know that "marriage is not a bed of roses". I've heard that statement a lot and I've seen a lot of instances where marriage turned out to be a miserable experience for people who at some point loved each other. I mean, one of the things that has been trending in recent years is Divorce and a lot of people are running to get the papers signed whenever their partner breathes a different way.
As far as I can tell, marriage is no joke. It comes with a lot of headaches and getting into it with the wrong person can make someone's life a living hell. However, it takes a very rare personality for someone not to see the need for a relationship that could lead to marriage.
I want mine to lead to marriage and I'm working towards it. Now, let's dive into the highlight of the post;
I was having a conversation with my cousin last week when I blurted out that I was going to do an MCless wedding. I know the statement had her ribs in stitches with laughter. Haha. It made sense for me to say something like that within the context of our conversation. However, on a more serious note, I will give y'all snippets of the kinda wedding I'm planning to have.
Everything about the wedding is going to be a mixture of simplicity and sophistication. I'm not going to do a wedding that will be "the talk of the town" or some overhyped stuff. Mine will be a celebration of conjugal ties for me and my lady and it's going to be an invitation for FAMILY and friends to come and celebrate the occasion with us.
I've heard of wedding ceremonies that made the celebrants broke afterwards. Some people remain in debt after theirs because they wanted to impress their friends with a high-profile wedding. Goodness knows that I detest being in the debt book of anyone and I know I will never have to incur debt because of a wedding. My finances are going to be very sufficient for the high-profile wedding which I plan to hold and anyone that shows up for it will know that the celebrants are at the top of their game.
Throughout my life, I've never gone to any wedding without getting invited to it. The country is hard so I see reasons why people just wake up, dress up and walk into the nearest event Hall to sit as wedding guests. But, I'm not letting every Sam and Harry into my wedding hall. Sorry, but I'm not going to have that. My wedding is going to be based on invitation and I won't be surprised if more than 30% of the guest are foreigners. Haha. I know why I'm saying this.
Food will be surplus. Like, I love food so much and I love nicely made meals. So, if you walk into the hall, food will be the least of your worries. I would also have a section for grilled meat so get ready to eat to your satisfaction. I love music too so, the DJ that will get the contract will be a pro. I don't want wild songs though. We will keep narrowing the playlist down to songs that have already punctuated different stages of my life and that of my wife-to-be.
There will be a lot of fun games in the wedding arena and there will surely be an interactive section between the guests and the celebrants. Haha.
The venue of the wedding is also going to be very important, but I won't give that out at the moment. Haha. Let's see if Elon can work out the Mars deal before the D-Day for my wedding. Yikes! Haha.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma.
