I think there is a huge existential competition that every one of us has to come face-to-face with in every aspect of our life. This competition is nested in us as humans and we clearly see it whenever money-making is involved.

Think about this world for an example... Those we know as high-net-worth individuals and owners of reputable conglomerates are highly competitive people. They know that if they are not as competitive, they will sooner lose their top ranking to other businesses.

Even petty traders with stocks valued at less than $50 are very competitive in my City.

Now, that sends an undeniable message... Get competitive or remain stagnant.

Just like many other things which are more effective if they become a habit, being competitive would also yield better results when we get accustomed to being that way. If you are aiming high enough, it will become fairly obvious to you that you can't afford to be competitive today only to cower the next day.

It's similar to running first in line and stopping before the finish line. It won't yield the intended result. You have to keep up the moment and cross the finish line.

Whether we like it or not, so much can be achieved in this world with money. So many people are in a mess because they do not have sufficient money. Interestingly, people do not just get money because of their desires. It takes a great deal of effort because the competition is intense.

A proper look at how people dive into money-making opportunities will make you think that we are some money-hungry bees being controlled by the smell of cash. Perhaps, that's who we are. A lot of things go the way we want them when we have the right amount and so many of us are no longer ignorant of this fact.

Little wonder why people are learning as many skills as they possibly can. Those who are taking the route of academics are bagging as many certificates as possible. Those of us in the Crypto/Investment world are exploring many promising investment opportunities. All these are mostly done to augment our financial status and net worth.

From all indications, learning to be competitive from the early stages of your life may not guarantee that you will be wealthy, but it sure increases your chances of becoming wealthy.
