Wow! This is one fascinating yet unsettling story. It's like a rollercoaster moving between Doris' anxious mind and her reality. She's an interesting character I would like to read more about but I won't be quick to judge Bruce because we're seeing their Vegas visit through her eyes and probably overactive imagination.

Now, this story definitely invites suspicion on Bruce's part. I wonder why he takes so long talking with the waitress without taking Doris along. And also the disappearing acts! Doris' panic attacks shows she believes he's not truthful with her.

Doris and Bruce make quite the couple. To have made it this far for eleven years shows Bruce can 'handle it'. Let's hope their visit to area 51 turns out well. This is an enjoyable read. There's tension and a realism that many marriages face. Beautifully written as always! 🌹
