My Bucket List Destination

Every year, I kind of note down my bucket list for that year and sometimes add some from the year before to it. I have so many things I'd love to achieve in my lifetime, one of which is the places I would love to visit.

Don't know what a bucket list is? It's a list of our desires we want to fulfill or achieve before we die, hence the use of the word bucket.

I thought it fun to share mine with you. You see, I would really love to travel the world but I have three specific places I would love to visit first: Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Italy and Paris! Cool places right? They are for me. When I think of these three places, I think of romance and appreciating the beauty of nature. I am a hopeless romantic, I think but try not to let it show!

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is the world largest waterfall! It's located along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe but predominantly falls within Zimbabwe region.

The first time I saw a picture of Victoria Falls, I was amazed! I made up my mind to add it to my bucket list because I would love to see this great waterfall with my very eyes, feel the spray of water on my skin and taste it! Lol! I understand that Victoria Falls is a location for newly wedded couples to spend their honeymoon (see? Romance!).

The beauty of the waterfall, the various beautiful hotels and parks around this place of wonder makes it a ideal location for newly weds.

Italy is a European country where the Vatican city resides. Ever since I came across pictures of lovely places in Italy, I longed to visit the place.

I have seen movies and read from books that it's a country that boasts of ancient arts, culture and Renaissance masterpieces! That fact that there's water all over the city of Venice fascinates me and makes it an ideal place for romance. I would definitely love to visit Italy, some day.

Paris is the capital of France popularly known as the city of love. Want a romantic atmosphere? Visit Paris.

I watch movies and see pictures where couples travel to Paris for honeymoon and renewal of wedding vows. Some friends go there to declare their eternal love for each other. Isn't that romantic? WhichBudget.com voted Paris as the most romantic city in the world! I would definitely want to see this lovely city some day, hopefully soon.

Since the pandemic broke out last year, there's been a lockdown on international travels but hopefully, it will be a thing of the past and people can get to travel as often as they want including me!
