The bakery shop, a division of Mama Gold Flour, looked neat and enticing on the outside so I promised to return here later in the day to check it out after I had taken care of my work related things. I had already imagined some of the nice sweet chops I would see inside.
The building where this bakery shop is located is also a shopping complex. I went in and took this picture from inside the shop facing the main entrance. The street was a bit busy.
I arrived here sometime in the afternoon and it seemed most of their pastries were almost sold out. They usually make beef burger, sausage roll, sardine bread, meat pie etc. Only bread, jam doughnut and egg scotch was on display in the show glass.
I was a bit disappointed and did not want to leave empty-handed, seeing that I had taken pictures and all. So I bought some jam doughnuts at N150 ($0.30 approximately) each. The prices of the pastries are pasted on the showglass.
I forgot to take pictures of the doughnuts but they were soft, fluffy and sweet! Haha! I expected nothing less, especially from a bakery shop. I have not tasted their bread yet but the quality of the doughnut would be an indication that their bread is good too.
