Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb…
How are you all hive friends, hope you are always healthy...
Have a nice day!!!

As usual I woke up around 6 am to do the dawn prayer, after the dawn prayer I slept for a while because I was not healthy, around 7 am I woke up and continued my duties as the first child at home, starting from taking my sister to school, shopping for kitchen needs and other. Because today is thursday so i go to college at noon, so i can help a little with homework.

So on this Thursday I'm taking lectures online at noon, because today the lecture is only one MK (Mata Kluiah) so today is not a busy day for me.
Today's MK (Course) is Corporate Budgeting, Entry at 13:40 noon. At this meeting, our lecturers were still discussing the preparation of the budget.

So in this post I want to share knowledge about my lecture today, I want to explain today's lecture material, hopefully it will be knowledge for those of us who read it.

Okay, now let's go straight to the lecture material,

Understanding Budget

Budgeting is a technical task. Budget is a work plan that is outlined in financial figures both short term and long term.

  • The objectives of the Budgeting are:
  1. To unify the company's expectations/targets in a clear and formal manner, so as to avoid poisoning and provide direction to what management wants to achieve.

  2. To communicate management expectations to related parties so that the budget is understood, supported, and implemented.

  3. To provide a detailed plan of activities with the aim of reducing uncertainty and providing clear direction for individuals and groups in an effort to achieve company goals.

  4. To coordinate the method/method to be taken in order to maximize resources.

  5. To provide a tool for measuring and controlling individual and group performance, as well as providing information that underlies the need for corrective action.

  • Types of Budget:
  1. Fixed Budget, a fixed budget is a cost plan for a certain period of time with the amount and other benchmarks arranged at a certain level.

  2. Flexible budget, a flexible budget is a budget whose benchmark activities are divided (grouped) at various levels of activity, and each activity is budgeted for the amount of costs according to the level of activity.

  • Budgeting System:
  1. Master Budget System.
  2. Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) .
  3. Planning, Programming, And Budgeting System (PPBS).
