I was confronted with the reality that not everything goes as planned.

I completely agree with this. None of the plans I made last year turned out the way I wanted them to. But looking back, I’ve learned to accept that sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and that’s okay.

We may have our own plans in life, but God has His own plans for us, too. I believe that when God doesn’t allow something we planned to happen, it may be His way of protecting us. Sometimes, what feels like a disappointment or a closed door is actually His way of leading us toward something better.
