Happy Tuesday Hivers!
Most of the dogs I've seen really struggle during bath time because they simply don't like getting wet. They often try to escape, making it quite challenging for their owners to bathe them.
The first time I saw my mom giving Marga a bath, I was genuinely amazed by how well-behaved she was. She stayed calm the entire time and didn't make any fuss. Whenever my mom told her not to shake off the water because she was still applying shampoo, Marga patiently stayed still and waited. She never tried to run away or resist.
While my younger brother is still in Leyte, he is the one who usually gave Marga her baths. At first, I thought Marga would only listen to our mom, but I was completely wrong.
The moment my brother told Marga it was time for a bath, she immediately walked over to him without any hesitation. That's one of the things I admire about her, she's never difficult to bathe. Whenever someone calls her for bath time, she simply comes over willingly.
My brother gave her a bath, and just as expected, Marga remained calm throughout the entire process. She didn't try to shake off the water while he was shampooing her, and she patiently stood still until he was finished.
Once the bath was over, my brother smiled and said, "Okay, you can shake now." That was the moment Marga happily shook her entire body from head to tail, sending water flying everywhere. It was as if she had been patiently waiting for permission the whole time, making the moment both adorable and amusing.
It was wonderful to see how much Marga actually enjoys bath time. Her calm and cooperative nature makes bathing her a pleasant and stress-free experience, which is something not every dog owner gets to enjoy.
