Happy Sunday Hivers!
There is an organization within the Catholic Church called the Mary’s Little Children Community. Their ministry focuses on teaching people about the possibility that some illnesses and struggles may be connected to sins or spiritual issues. They also extend help and guidance to people who believe they are experiencing spiritual disturbances or possession.
One of the important parts of their seminar is the Healing of the Family Tree, where they discuss how experiences, wounds, and patterns within a family can affect its members. They also teach about the importance of the Seven Sacraments according to Catholic teachings, along with many other topics related to faith, spiritual healing, and living a deeper Christian life.
The seminar is held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., making it a full day dedicated to learning, reflection, prayer, and spiritual guidance.
I have actually known about this community since I was in high school. In fact, this was not my first time attending one of their seminars. The first time I came was during a period in my life when I was feeling extremely down and had reached a point where I no longer knew what to do with my life. I was searching for direction and hoping to find something that could help me understand what I was going through.
The community has priests and religious sisters who guide the participants throughout the seminars. Their presence provides not only spiritual instruction but also a sense of comfort and encouragement, especially for people who may be going through difficult moments in their lives.
Last Friday, my sister and I decided to attend the seminar because her daughter was planning to go to confession, as it had been quite a long time since her last confession. After the confession, we decided not to go home right away. Instead, we stayed and listened to the seminar. It was also a good opportunity for us to refresh our knowledge about our faith because, I believe, it is always good to revisit these teachings from time to time.
During lunchtime, we headed to a nearby bakeshop that also serves combo meals. This bakeshop only started offering combo meals recently. Before that, it was simply a regular bakeshop, but they renovated the place and added a dining area, making it more convenient for customers who want to eat there.
One of the things I really like about dining here is how clean the place is. For me, cleanliness makes a big difference, especially when choosing a place to eat.
I ordered noodles for myself, while my sister and niece opted for their combo meals. The bakeshop is conveniently located near the market and a parking area, so it actually makes sense that they decided to offer combo meals. With many people passing by the area, having affordable and convenient meals is probably something customers really appreciate.
After our lunch, we continued with the rest of our Saturday activities. It was a simple day, but sometimes, these ordinary moments—learning, spending time with family, and enjoying a good meal together, are what make a Saturday meaningful.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
