Ever since I read your post, I've been thinking hard about the brain / stake approaches to Hive. And you pretty much crystallised my thoughts in your opening paragraphs.

Except that nugget that I hadn't considered.

Hive = Room To Improve

I came to Hive for the money. But not in the commonly understood meaning. Because my quest started with a desire to understand crypto currency. And the only way for me to do that is to be involved. So I feel Hive is the best platform for my quest as it started and the only platform for what it has become.

Stand by for my post explaining how I'm developing my approach to curation. Including your important points about vote weight and HP delegation. But you might want to pull up a chair. Because standing around waiting for me is notoriously tiring.
