News breaks out today about something Ripple has had in the works for months. American Express has joined with Santander Bank in the UK to create a payment channel on the Ripplenet from the US to the UK. This is going to lead the way for other major banks and payment processer leaders to jump on ripplenet and use XRP to transfer funds across boarders cheaper and faster than ever before. It was really exciting waking up to this news as ripple is expected to ramp up its partnerships and actual use of the ripple net starting this quarter and continued exponential growth in 2018.
