A few days after the incident and finally some emotions are beginning to lighten up. I can’t fathom how the families of those affected feel in moments like these. This one hit home pretty hard as a California resident Vegas is almost like a second home. I was there walking by the same street that the venue was located just a few weeks ago. My fiancées coworker , was sorority sisters with one of the victims best friends sister. I have friends that live in Vegas that were playing poker at neighboring casinos and we’re live tweeting the chaos in those casinos as well because of reports of active shooters in Bellagio, Aria, Luxor, New York New York. This put the whole strip on lockdown. All flights in and out of the airport cancelled. If you’ve never been to Vegas the strip is literally blocks away from the runways. The whole story still doesn’t make sense to me from the shooters motive to all the details. How does one have all that military equipment and nobody close to you have any idea? I go to Vegas probably 4-5 times a year and I know walking down the strip from now on is definitely going to feel different, for how long, that I’m not sure. All we can do is live life to the fullest each and every day and spread love and joy to everyone, even those that piss you off some times.
