Greetings to Steemians and Lovers of the Art. Yesterday was a remarkable day. Not just because it was Saturday or the fact that many didn't have to go work. Of course, Saturdays are known for the long list of events from which people get to choose which and which to attend.
For lovers of the genre of poetry I must say that this past Saturday was eventful as Poets had to choose which of the poetry events to attend. While the dodged followers of the craft made themselves available at atleast two of the events that held.
First was the June Edition of WORDAHOLICS a.k.a (High ON Words) The monthly poetry event which comes up every second Saturday of the month had another interesting edition yesterday. Hosted by Paul and Sissy, it featured interesting performances from Poets like Poetic Samurai, The Gift, KCPWESH, GEMINI, Mark Alex etc... The event took place in Lagos and started around 12noon. It the was spiced with unique performances and interactive session from Guest Poets in person of Word Bright and Bank Hall. It was indeed an interesting time as Poets in their numbers headed straight for the next event which was scheduled to commenced around 5pm around VI in Lagos immediately the June Edition ended.
It was really fun as Poets and lovers of the art gathered in oneness to do what they love.
