People just act like life is about dealing with things that happen to them. Do you not realize how much control you have?
So many people take the safe route. Because then they may not have to deal with potential failure. But often when you aim high And work your ass off you can get pretty close to what you want.
Don't rely on others to get you to where you want to be. Take control and get those things for yourself.
I keep noticing that so many people complain about how much they hate their lives.
Sometimes it's not just that "They Aren't Doing Anything about it." They genuinely have no idea what they want.
And this causes serious issues. How can you make an important decision if you don't know what you want? You can't. Other people will start making decisions for you. No one wants that to happen. The majority of us will have to face that kind of life.
It's important to constantly try new things, And expand your boundaries, so you'll know what you want from life.
Or at least a basic idea, Then you can move from there.
I like to see a bad thing like quicksand.
Once I fall in, I can still get out relatively easily. Often, People mistake this as being "Safe." So they stay put Until they become stuck.
They have a job they hate, But they stay put, for now, All the sudden they have a child to support, And they are somewhat stuck because they desperately need the income.
If something is weighing you down, Don't spend much longer being "stuck" come up with a game plan and cut the person, Job, Or opportunity loose as fast as you possibly can.
Come up with a detailed and smart game plan, Then begin executing it as quickly as possible.
This is a tactic I use to get things done!
Sometimes life doesn't put enough pressure on us to get moving. When you pressure yourself, You get to control the amount of pressure in your life, And you can use that as a serious advantage.
I'm using this tactic right now; I haven't been as productive as I was back when I first quit my job. So to pressure myself, I got a part-time job for the holidays so I can earn extra money, Lose weight. But also go back to being more productive.
Having fewer hours available for my business Will force me to focus more heavily on getting stuff done quickly. This is a lot of pressure; I have a ton of big goals that I want to accomplish, And in a way that part-time job will "hold me back." Causing me to stress, and go into overdrive on my business.
Doing things like this to yourself will open so many more opportunities.
Too many people spend every second they can to "relax." To the point, Many people can't even handle the pressure when it starts. This will give you practice, And Allow you to work a lot more and faster.
We avoid failure every day. But the reality is If we want to try something new or change our lives. It's something that has to happen sometimes.
I'll never forget how embarrassing it was to take a motorcycle class; I ended up being the worst in the class by far. I felt embarrassed and ashamed. But ultimately I passed the test and got my endorsement.
It's been a few years now, And I am really happy I went through with that experience. I learned a ton, And sure, I was embarrassed. But there is a really good chance that the people in my class don't remember me at all.
If I had avoided that experience altogether, I never would have had the chance to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Now It's really exciting that I can just buy one, And go riding whenever I want because I already have my endorsement.
You'll never be good at everything on the first try. Sometimes you'll get lucky, and be "Naturally" good. But that is very rare.
