Darkness has descended all around. As evening approached, the surroundings seemed to darken. Black clouds are flying in the sky. When a black cloud suddenly surrounds the moon, nothing can be seen around. Again, when the black cloud moves away from the moon, the moonlight illuminates the environment a bit.
In such an environment, Apurba and Nilay left the market for home. Between the market and their house is a huge crop field. Once they cross this field, their home. But this field became terrifying many times during the night. Nilay and Apurba have heard many such stories from their ancestors. Moreover, the environment seemed a bit haunted to them then. So they were a little scared while walking. Apurbo was a bit timid between the two.
Moreover they had no torch light so they had to walk in the dark. At times, Apurba felt as if someone was walking behind them. This realization embraces them from behind and will hurt them. Apurba started crying inside for fear of this. Although Nilay did not pay attention to these, he was also a little scared inside. But he did not reveal it to Apurba because then Apurba would get more scared.
After going some distance, Apurba suddenly collided with an object and fell to the ground and immediately screamed in loudly. Nilay hugged him. Then they noticed that in the dim light, something like the shape of many people could be seen in the distance. These are swaying with the wind. Suddenly they are startled by the lightning of the sky. Seeing this state, Apurba hugged Nilay more tightly and started trembling.
Apurba and Nilay noticed that they were coming towards them and there was a noise all around. The environment was depopulated so their fears increased and they could not think what to do. They both decided that whatever happens in front! They will run home in one run. They started running. But it seemed to them that they could not move forward. It seemed that the road was not ending. These terrifying objects seem to be moving too close to grab them.
Eventually they reached home panting. But fear went to the yard and shouted loudly and lost consciousness. The next morning they regained consciousness. As soon as they remembered the horrible incident of last night, fear started in their minds.
Then in the afternoon Apurba and Nilay went to that field again. Because there they left their sandals. As they searched, they discovered that what they were afraid of last night was not a miracle or something to be afraid of. These were scarecrow. Then they smiled softly at each other and said that these were scarecrows scarecrows....
