This flower can be found in the Horton Plains, Ohiya, Pattipola, Seetha Eliya, and Moon Thenna areas of the Nuwara Eliya district, where it grows between 1700 and 2300 meters above sea level. This plant has been found growing in the Knuckles and Namunukula mountains, according to reports.
This shrub thrives in open areas rather than dense woodlands. In open plains, it can reach a height of 2 to 3 feet, while in rainforests, it can reach a height of 10 to 15 feet. Apart from surviving in the frigid alpine regions, this plant has also been reported to withstand the periodic forest fires on the Horton plains, regrowing after being destroyed by fire.
Have a blessed day everyone! 馃榾鉂わ笍
