Hello, hello my beautiful people from NeedleWorkMonday, it is a nice pleasure to greet you again. I hope you enjoyed a productive Needle Monday. For my part, I couldn't publish my project yesterday, since it was not finished. But today I come with great joy to show you the product of my weekend knitting sessions.
Fortunately my elbow has been improving little by little, however I still can't knit as fast and as frequently as I used to, which is why big projects usually take me a little longer. The important thing for me is that I can still knit and enjoy each stitch. I prefer to knit little by little than hurt my tendons even more and not be able to knit for a long time. Some people don't understand what crochet means in my life, that's why they don't understand that even though I have pain I want to continue knitting. That's something that only crocheters at heart understand. That's why I'm happy to belong to this beautiful community, where we feel understood and supported.
This bag made with daisy design grannys took me two weekends to complete, something that before I could do in two days, at most. I made the bag for myself, because I didn't have any bags in a dark color. I really liked the combination of the gray color with the daisy flowers and I am very happy with the result.
Now I value my crocheted products much more and I am no longer taking orders, because I think most people have a hard time valuing artisanal work; Very few pay the true price to have something exclusive, personalized and handmade with love. Now I only knit for myself, my family and my closest friends. If we as artisans don't value our art, no one else will. With this small reflection I say goodbye, inviting you to continue dreaming and continue creating with love.
Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
