Hello, hello dear artisan friends. Happy and blessed Tuesday to all of you. I am back in the community today to show you a new mini mat from the project I am making for my friend.
This project has me in high spirits as I get to experiment with different patterns and colors. I must say that as much as I have knitted, I have also done a lot of unknitting, as some patterns have not worked out so well.
In this opportunity I used a wooden ring in the center and from there I started to knit the loops using the stitch called the net stitch. The wooden hoop helps me to give more structure to the weaving, it is worth mentioning that the macramé thread also helps a lot to make the rug firmer.
In this rug I didn't take many risks with the colors, I worked it in related and not contrasting tones, but for the next rugs I want to try with more striking colors and different from each other. I'll keep trying patterns, but I'm looking forward to knit without a pattern and let my creativity flow and see what comes up. For now I'll say goodbye until the next post. Greetings and blessings.
