Warm greetings to my dear friends at Hive, especially my fellow NeedleWorkMonday crafters. It is a joy to greet you again and share with you a new crochet project. This time I bring you an unusual project in my repertoire. It is a small hamburger made with crocheted ingredients.
Last night I spent some time surfing the web looking for ideas to make a keychain that I could give to my daughter's best friend who will have her birthday in a few days. When it's a girl or teenager I find it much easier to create something cute that I'm sure they will like. But when it comes to the male figure my crochet mind is conflicted and I can't come up with anything. However, when I saw the hamburger keychain it seemed like a good choice.
I found this idea in an Instagram reel, the creator just showed each of the knitted elements and simulated to be preparing a real hamburger. Although she didn't leave the step by step, I found it quite simple to make, so without thinking too much about it I started crocheting.
All the ingredients, with the exception of the cheddar cheese, are knit in a circular pattern, starting with a base of 8 single crochet stitches and making only 4 rows of increases. The lettuce is knitted with a small ruffle at the edge. The cheese is knitted in a square with single crochet stitches. Then all the elements are joined together with a little silicone and the key ring is placed.
Me despido por hoy dese谩ndoles una linda noche. Saludos y bendiciones.
It was the first time I made a food-shaped fabric and I found it really fun and creative. I felt like a little girl playing with play dough. I hope this young boy likes this detail because I knitted it with a lot of love. What do you think?
I say goodbye for today wishing you a nice evening. Greetings and blessings.
