Today I stop by the community briefly, to share with you my joy for having successfully completed this nice set of placemats and cup holders woven with Christmas motifs.
Esta solicitud me la hizo una muy buena amiga a quien le encanta decorar su casa, pero sobre todo le encanta presentar una mesa muy elegante para las cenas navide帽as.
Por ende no pod铆a quedar mal con este pedido. Me esforc茅 en cuidar cada detalle, incluyendo ocultar muy bien las hebras sobrantes.
After overcoming several inconveniences with the work material, I was finally able to complete this order of 6 placemats and 6 woven cup holders in the traditional Christmas colors.
This request was made to me by a very good friend who loves to decorate her home, but especially loves to present a very elegant table for Christmas dinners.
So I could not go wrong with this request. I made an effort to take care of every detail, including hiding the leftover strands very well.
Although I don't really like to knit in series, this project didn't bore me at all because it is a very entertaining pattern to knit and the cheerful colors help to keep the attention on the knitting. Each individual is about 30 cm in diameter and the cup holders are 10 cm in diameter. To knit the whole set I used a total of 200 grams of red yarn, 150 grams of green yarn and about 120 grams of white yarn.

This is the first time I have made a complete set in Christmas colors. I usually get requests for table runners or place mats. To complete this set, I came up with the idea to knit a dishcloth pendant. For this I used two identical pieces from the Christmas tree pattern I shared a few days ago and attached them to a plastic ring. I really liked the result.
Happily I can now deliver this very special order, hoping that my friend likes her new set of singles.
