Birthdays are for me, a great opportunity to give thanks for the blessings that have been bestowed upon us. To give thanks not only for the good moments, but also for the hard and painful moments that teach us and help us grow.
For me, each and every one of my days are a wonderful gift from God, and like all gifts they should be appreciated and valued.
A decir verdad, estaba tan ocupada, resolviendo asusntos personales, que no tuve tiempo de planear nada para festejar y compartir con mi familia.
Sin embargo, no me falt贸 un pastel de cumplea帽os, de hecho, tuve varios pasteles. Mis hermanas, mi esposo y mis amigas se dieron a la tarea de sorprenderme con ricos pasteles. En realidad no me esperaba tanta sorpresa, por lo que la pas茅 muy bien y estuve muy feliz.
Although I am not usually as enthusiastic about my birthday as I am about my children's and loved ones' birthdays, this year I was very happy and pleasantly surprised and grateful for the demonstrations of love, affection and appreciation from my family and friends.
To tell the truth, I was so busy, dealing with personal issues, that I did not have time to plan anything to celebrate and share with my family.
However, I did not lack a birthday cake, in fact, I had several cakes. My sisters, my husband and my friends took it upon themselves to surprise me with delicious cakes. I didn't really expect such a surprise, so I had a great time and was very happy.
It had been a long time since I had shared with my old friends and colleagues, so I was very happy when they invited me to spend the afternoon and surprised me with a beautiful and delicious vanilla and chocolate cake. It was a very pleasant and fun afternoon, remembering anecdotes and pleasant moments. I thank them for their sincere friendship and for the beautiful detail.
