Hi Everyone,
This is my first ever blog post, at the grand age of 30, written from Somerset in England, UK with two young children keeping me on my toes, as I type.
Afternoon Tea at The Ritz for my 30th Birthday this year
Let me paint you a story, before the pandemic I was a Bid Manager in the Facilities Management industry but I was sadly made redundant, I had a child soon after and decided to follow in my parents footsteps in opening my own Chinese takeaway. The takeaway was a success, with a lot of my parents help and it was amazing to show my children, I had another child while I had the takeaway running, the environment I grew up in, even though they won’t remember these times. I have since closed the takeaway and I’m now taking my long awaited maternity leave to spend travelling with my children, showing them the world before they have to start their journey in full time education.

I’ve decided to take a leap into the blogging world, as I feel I have so much to share, as well as having some spare time on my hands, whether it’s from where I have or will travel, restaurants I’ve ate at, tips and tricks in parenthood that have been useful for me as well as so much more. As they say, sharing is caring.
I enjoy travelling around the world, taking photos of all the sights and immersing in all the different cultures and environments, broadening my knowledge which I can pass on to others. My other interests are baking and the amazing world of Disney which I have been able to share with my two youngsters; you may find that I may have a slight obsession with Disney.

Hopefully you’ll stick with me along this blogging journey that I am about to embark on and find some of my tips and tricks or stories to be interesting whether it’s about travelling, parenthood, cooking and everything in-between.
I would like to thank @livinguktaiwan, who is also my Auntie, for introducing me to the Hive platform and being my mentor / guide throughout this whole process.

Until next time, stay tuned.
