My name is Kater Orshi. A graduate of General Psychology from Benue state University, Makurdi Benue State, Nigeria. I hail from Buruku Local Government of the state and come from the Tiv tribe. I grew up in a peri urban areas of the state's capital and had the privilege of living both in the local rural area and also in the fairly developed town. I have the opportunity to gain local knowledge usually passed down through folktales and evening conversation with the elderly members of my extended family. Am glad to have the opportunity to being introduced into this great platform where I can learn from seasoned writers from a aspect of writing and also contribute my own measure to the development of the community.

An avid reader of almost everything especially psychological materials, action novels and comedy. I spend a lot of time and money on books. I have this notion that readers are leaders and the love and zeal for reading does not offer only fun but keeps the reader well informed about past and present events, happenings and new discoveries in our world today. Reading develops once skill in the academic sphere and also broadens ones knowledge.
I am an unpublished writer, I write for the fun of it. Writing keeps me going and it serves as a way for me to make my feelings known to the wider world and even in most cases to my friends. I have this believe that actions speaks louder than words and putting my words into writing is a form of action and I derive so much pleasure from it. Writing unburdens the heart and the relief I derive from putting down my mind and products of my thinking is soothing and pleasing to my heart. And I also believe one day I will gather the necessary knowledge and resources required to publish some of my writings and finally attain the status of a published writer.
A very curious person, I ask a ton of questions and I am a great conversationalist, I can make conversation with anyone on just anything using any cue. I believe we have something to learn from everybody no matter the person's status, age or even level of education and I easily strike up conversations so as to tap from what others have to offer and see how I can polish it to my nature and also make changes that will affect my life positively.
I am also a football fan. My hobbies are writing, reading, speaking and people watching among others. I love the sport very well and I play it pretty well. My favourite tournament is the English Premier League and am a staunch supporter of the Chelsea football club in London. I rarely miss a game they feature in except if am unavoidable held up by other businesses.
My goal is to impact the world and I try in my own little way to make a positive change to it. A little drop of water makes the mighty ocean they say, so I believe I can impact the world in my own little way. I also want to learn from other writers and content creators in the community, read amazing write ups and also make new friends.
Once again, am happy to be among such a great community and I hope to have a good writing carer and relationship with others. I also promise to abide by the rules and regulations of the community.
